HyperGuest provides a digital online proprietary platform that allows direct connectivity between accommodation providers (of any kind) and travel providers (of any sort).

By utilizing direct connectivity the platform allows placement of direct bookings (i.e. travel providers can place reservations directly with accommodation providers).

The platform offers and supports two main models:

Marketplace: accommodation providers can place their inventory for “sale” in a digital arena where travel providers can access it and directly place bookings. This allows for accommodation providers to work straight with an abundance of travel providers without the need to pre-contract each of them separately. Vice-versa, travel providers can work directly with an abundance of accommodation providers without the need to pre-contract each of them separately.

Bilateral Relationship: additionally, in coexistence with the Marketplace, accommodation providers and travel providers can agree on different rates and terms (than those of the Marketplace) and with just a few clicks, create and set bilateral relationships based on designated rates and terms as pre-agreed on between each party.

Furthermore, based on pre-agreed and pre-set relationships, our platform allows easy and direct connectivity between accommodation providers and technology providers (of any kind and sort) that facilitates technological solutions/services obtained by accommodation providers.

Last but not least (for now), based on pre-agreed and pre-set relationships, our platform allows easy and direct connectivity between accommodation providers/travel providers and travel product suppliers (of any kind and sort) that enables smooth coupling of accommodation services/products with other travel services/products (and by that creating new revenue streams).

For accommodation providers:

Our service and the use of our platform is completely FREE for accommodation providers.

There are no fees whatsoever… no transaction fees, no maintenance fees, no set-up fees, no subscription fees, no listing fees, no monthly minimum fees, and no “I want your money” fees!

Absolutely no cost… free of charge!

Accommodation providers are entities that provide accommodation services of any type, kind, or sort, including but not limited to the following: hotels, hotel chains, motels, hostels, Inns, guest-houses, camping, chalets, resorts, lodges, home-stays, farm-stays, boats, tents, vacation rentals, holiday homes, aparthotels, villas, etc.

The HyperGuest platform offers hoteliers several levels of control to mitigate rate leakage and rate parity concerns:

Controlled distribution of NET rate plans:

Unlike bed-banks and wholesalers, HyperGuest allows hoteliers to configure how their rates get distributed. For example, NET rate plans can be made available to segments such as travel agencies, closed communities but not to resellers.

Publish the BAR rate with NET prices:

HyperGuest allows users to define a rate plan as the official BAR, which will be provided to demand generators together with the net price. In many cases, rate parity issues occur simply because demand generators don’t know the hotelier’s expectation for a minimum sell rate. Publicly selling below the BAR rate, in this case, is a violation of the HyperGuest terms of use.

Publish pay-at-hotel (gross) rate plans:

When hoteliers publish end-user (gross, commissionable) prices, they have full control of the selling price. HyperGuest allows B2B sales of such rates, including a consistent seamless reconciliation process and commission remittance.

Quick mitigation of rate parity cases:

With HyperGuest, you are in control. When an issue occurs, you don’t need to embark on a ‘detective’ effort (as with a traditional wholesaler) since you will be working with the target agencies directly. By simply adding a demand partner on your Block List, they will immediately lose access to your inventory.

Performance-wise:

For “pull” API integrations, our system will answer a query (even for the most crowded destination), in less than a second (typically in less than 500 milliseconds).

For “push” API integrations, our system will push updates to partners’ systems, in less than a second (typically in less than 500 milliseconds) from the moment the update was pushed to our system.

Absolutely!

Our platform fully supports “pay at the property” which is also known as “sell rate plans,” “commissionable rate plans,” and/or “post-pay rate plans.”

“Sell rate plans”: a sell (commissionable) rate-plan defines the booking sele price for the final client (the guest/consumer). The sell rate is a “post-pay” rate (i.e. collected and paid during the stay, until the check-out).

The travel provider is only eligible to offer to its clients the sell rate (without any additional mark-up). The sell price is collected by the accommodation provider from the guest and the commission amount is paid to the travel provider usually after the stay (post-check-out).

Our platform fully supports the “NET” model which is also known as “prepaid rate-plans”.

“NET rate-plans”: a net rate-plan defines the booking net price to be paid by the travel provider to the accommodation provider. The NET rate is a “prepaid” rate (i.e. collected and paid prior to the stay/check-in).

The travel provider is eligible to add a certain amount to the net rate (mark-up) and offer it to their clients. The final price (net rate + mark-up) is collected by the travel provider from its client (guest) and the net rate is paid by the travel provider to the accommodation provider.

Generally, our contracts are done and settled online.

As part of the sign-up process, you are requested to carefully and diligently review your relevant Terms and Conditions and then formally digitally accept it.

The online digital acceptance functions as a formal “signing” and forms a legally valid enforceable binding contract.

When and if it is relevant, annexes, appendices, addendums, etc. will be concluded and signed by exchanging physical or digital signed documents. 

These signed documents (again, if and only where relevant) will be stored and be accessible on your online platform account.

Best Available Rate (BAR), also known as Best Rate Guaranteed (BRG), is a pricing mechanism used by hotels and hotel chains. It was introduced as a result of the hotel industry mimicking the airline industry, which sets a price by forecasting demand.

There are several interpretations and executions of BAR in the hotel industry. Sheryl E. Kimes defines BAR pricing as an “attempt to reduce confusion and to guarantee that the guest is quoted the lowest available rate for each night of a multiple-night stay.”[1] Galileo, a Global Distribution System provider, defines BAR as “a rate available to the general public that does not require pre-payment and does not impose cancellation or change penalties and/or fees, other than those imposed as a result of a hotel property’s normal cancellation policy.” However, some hotels include “fenced” rates as part of their BAR strategies.

Our platform allows you to mark one rate-plan or a few rate plans as “BAR” (ex. BAR for flexible cancelation policy and BAR of non-refundable etc.).

For each rate we “send”, we will also “send” the BAR and by that, the demand partner will be able to keep intact your rate parity.

In addition to other measures contributing to the enforcement rate-parity, all and any of the demand partners take firm commitment as follows:

Accommodation providers have a tremendous vested interest in controlling their rates (to maintain and protect “Rate Parity” across various channels etc. and to avoid rate leakages and disparity across various channels).

Hence the Travel Provider acknowledges, represents, and warrants that the Travel Provider will always honor the BAR restrictions and never and under no circumstances will the Travel Provider, directly or indirectly, intentionally or unintentionally, display, publish, or offer rates that are lower than the BAR on any Open Site (whether these sites are operated or managed by the Travel Provider or by any of its third-party customers). The Travel Provider holds full responsibility for the above and in case of a breach, in addition to, any other remedies, the Accommodation Provider will have the right to cancel bookings made in breach. The Travel Provider is fully responsible for any/all damages that will occur to the Accommodation Provider due to a breach of the above-said obligations.  

For this section (and the agreement), the following terms shall have the following meanings:

“Best Available Rate (BAR)”: is the rate/s indicated by the Accommodation Provider as such (with the meaning that these are the rate/s which the Travel Provider needs to honor and MUST NOT undercut on any Open Site).

“Open site”: any online website, mobile app, etc. that is generally open for the public and can be accessed freely by consumers, users, etc.

For example, these solutions or services might be in the fields of yield and revenues management, websites and booking engines, rates monitoring, dynamic packages, customer relations, etc.

Travel product suppliers are entities that provide travel products/services, such as admission (tickets) for attractions (like amusement parks, museums, concerts, theaters, sports events, etc.), restaurants, tourist attractions, tours, transportation, etc.

Our payment module allows you to easily pay or get paid (as the case may be).

You can use our payment module with existing relationships and of course for bookings made through our marketplace (direct bookings made by partners that you may not necessarily have relationships with).

Our reconciliation module is fully synced with our payment solution module. 


For accommodation providers:

For bookings made via our marketplace and/or where you do not have an existing relationship with the travel provider, our payment module will be used for receiving payments.

In case you have in place an existing relationship with the travel provider and based on your agreement/arrangement, you can pay the travel provider directly (externally to our system).
