HyperGuest & M-TU

How M-TU is using direct connectivity to source hotels faster and sell them smarter.

DemandTravel Provider October 12, 2026

M-TU (Mengtu) is a B2B hotel booking platform serving travel agencies, ground handlers, and corporate groups, with a strong focus on sourcing hotels directly. M-TU is now live on HyperGuest, combining access to our marketplace with full control over its own directly contracted hotels in a single connection.

We conducted a mini-interview with Zac CHAI, Business Development at M-TU, to talk about how they are now sourcing hotels faster.

The Vision

What's M-TU's long-term vision in B2B travel?

"Mengtu wants to make B2B hotel sourcing faster, more transparent, and more dynamic, moving away from static contracts and fragmented systems. Rather than being just another wholesaler, we aim to be an intelligent distribution partner that helps travel sellers access the right inventory at the right price, in real time. HyperGuest fits perfectly into this vision because it connects us to a much broader marketplace while also giving us control over our own directly contracted hotels."

The Challenge

What was your biggest hurdle in sourcing hotels at scale?

"The biggest hurdle was fragmentation. We had to deal with hundreds of suppliers, inconsistent data, manual mapping, delayed rate and availability updates, and static pricing models that no longer reflect today's market. As we grew, managing both third-party inventory and our own direct contracts became increasingly complex and costly. We needed a scalable, direct connectivity solution: one that could reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and give us real-time access to inventory."

The Partnership

How is direct connectivity changing the way you source and sell hotels?

"Direct connectivity with HyperGuest has fundamentally changed how we source and sell hotels. Through one connection, we can access 40 thousand hotels on the marketplace and also manage our own directly contracted inventory. We get real-time availability and dynamic rates, which helps us offer more competitive prices and better choices to our clients. On the selling side, it speeds up product launches, reduces operational friction, and improves conversion."

In summary: fewer suppliers to manage, cleaner data, and rates that move with the market.

Thank you, Zac, for sharing M-TU's perspective!
