Founded in 1967, Miki Travel brings more than 50 years of experience as a leading provider of wholesale group and FIT travel programs. With 32 offices worldwide and multilingual teams across Europe and Asia, Miki Travel has built a strong global footprint while remaining firmly focused on the B2B travel ecosystem.
As part of our ongoing mini-interview series, the team at Miki Travel shared their perspective on growth, technology, and how they are preparing for what comes next.
The Vision
What is the “North Star” goal for Miki Travel in 2026?
“We are a B2B-only tour operator in Europe and Japan. We never deal with B2C and concentrate exclusively on B2B business. Maintaining and strengthening our individual package business remains very important for us.”
The Challenge
What is the biggest distribution or technology pain point you are looking to solve this year?
“At the moment, we use a system where our FIT contracts are uploaded and connected to the system used in Japan to send requests. Technically, everything works well today. However, when the HIS headquarters changes its system in the near future, our current integration may no longer be compatible. We do not yet know how the Japanese system will evolve, but we expect some challenges during the transition.”
Looking Ahead
Why did you decide HyperGuest was the right solution to support this next phase?
“We decided to work with HyperGuest because the ability to manage both FIT and dynamic contracts is very useful for us, especially as the industry moves away from static contracting. We also believe HyperGuest can support us by offering a wider range of accommodation solutions for our clients.”
As Miki Travel continues to evolve its systems and safeguard its B2B-only model, flexibility, connectivity, and access to diverse hotel content remain key pillars for the years ahead.
