Our Services

HyperGuest provides a digital online proprietary platform that allows direct connectivity between accommodation providers (of any kind) and travel providers (of any sort).

By utilizing direct connectivity the platform allows placement of direct bookings (i.e. travel providers can place reservations directly with accommodation providers).

The platform offers and supports two main models:

Marketplace: accommodation providers can place their inventory for “sale” in a digital arena where travel providers can access it and directly place bookings. This allows for accommodation providers to work directly with an abundance of travel providers without the need to pre-contract each of them separately. Vice-versa, travel providers can work directly with an abundance of accommodation providers without the need to pre-contract each of them separately.

Bilateral Relationship: additionally, in coexistence with the Marketplace, accommodation providers and travel providers can agree on different rates and terms (than those of the Marketplace) and with just a few clicks, create and set bilateral relationships based on designated rates and terms as pre-agreed on between each party.

Connectivity: the technology landscape for hotel as well as demand providers is highly fragmented. The largest players dont reach 10% market share and most requests to integrate are are declined. Integrating require specialized know-how and architecture. With HyperGuest, a single integration offers both supply and demand players access to do business without ever having to worry about connectivity. The critical mass of solutions are already integrated, and new ones are being added and certified constantly.

Furthermore, based on pre-agreed and pre-set relationships, our platform allows easy and direct connectivity between accommodation providers and technology providers (of any kind and sort) that facilitates technological solutions/services obtained by accommodation providers.

Can you provide payment solution?

We offer a complete, beginning-to-end, payment solution module.

Our payment module allows you to easily pay or get paid (as the case may be).You can use our payment module with existing relationships and of course for bookings made through our marketplace (direct bookings made by partners that you may not necessarily have relationships with).

We support various payment methods such as credit cards, virtual credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, deposits, PayPal, etc. Our reconciliation module is fully synced with our payment solution module.

Can I work with specific partner/s?

Can I communicate directly with the hotel?

Our platform forms direct reservations with full transparency (so the hotel knows exactly who the booker is). You have full liberty to contact and communicate directly with the hotel in regards to any matter (submit special requests directly etc.).Our communication module supports the exchange between hotel and booker. You can email or call the hotel per the contact information which is presented on each specific reservation and as generally available for each property on our platform.Due to the nature of their business, most hotels have 24/7/365 customer service support, so you can expect a prompt reply.

Do you support & offer unique models/rate-plans?

Our platform is highly flexible and built to support less common business models and unique/different rate plans.

A few examples: rate plans for selling rooms by time-slots/hourly basis (rather than nights), long-stays, opaque/packages rates, CUG rates, bulk rates, offline rates, and many more…

Among our demand network partners, we have demand partners that specialize in selling rooms by utilizing, promoting, and offering unique models (as per the above/many others).

Can I set my own terms/agreement with an hotel?

Yes, you can!

You have full liberty to contact any hotel listed on our platform.

Once the terms/agreement with the hotel is done and concluded, the hotel can easily set it up.

Can I approach a listed property (hotel)?

Yes, of course!

Any hotel/property working with us (via the marketplace or otherwise) is available for you to directly contact and contract by agreeing on a bilateral relationship (agreement).

Our platform advocates ‘full transparency‘ so if there is a generating of bookings for a hotel, then the hotel is fully aware of it.

Initiating a contact request is very easy and can be done directly from the Platform (or externally, by email, phone or any mean you choose).

Once an agreement is reached, the hotel can in a very easy process set and configure it.

Which payment methods are available?

How do I get paid for bookings?

It’s easy!

For accommodation providers:

For bookings made via our marketplace and/or where you do not have an existing relationship with the travel provider, our payment module will be used for receiving payments.

In case you have in place an existing relationship with the travel provider and based on your agreement/arrangement, the travel provider can pay you directly (externally to our system).

Can I access special rates, terms, promotions etc?

Can I receive/get the BAR?

Yes (and you should)!

Our platform allows our accommodation providers to mark one rate plan or a few rate plans as “BAR” (ex. BAR for flexible cancelation policy and BAR of non-refundable etc.).

For each rate we “send” (make available for) you, we shall also “send” (make available) the BAR and by that, you are expected and obligated to keep intact the hotel’s rate parity and not undercut it on any open site.

What do you mean by: “technology providers?”

Technology providers are entities that provide technology solutions or technology services (usually categorized as travel-tech, hospitality-tech, etc.) of any type, kind, or sort of accommodation providers and/or travel providers.

For example, these solutions or services might be in the fields of yield and revenues management, websites and booking engines, rates monitoring, dynamic packages, customer relations, etc.

How do I place bookings?

Direct bookings are made easy!

You can book hotels direct either on your own bookings system, via easy integration with our platform.

If you do not have a booking system, we can provide to you, free of charge, our booking system to serve you as an online tool for placing booking directly with hotels.

What is BAR (rate)?

Best Available Rate (BAR), also known as Best Rate Guaranteed (BRG), is a pricing mechanism used by hotels and hotel chains. It was introduced as a result of the hotel industry mimicking the airline industry, which sets a price by forecasting demand.

There are several interpretations and executions of BAR in the hotel industry. Sheryl E. Kimes defines BAR pricing as an “attempt to reduce confusion and to guarantee that the guest is quoted the lowest available rate for each night of a multiple-night stay.”[1] Galileo, a Global Distribution System provider, defines BAR as “a rate available to the general public that does not require pre-payment and does not impose cancellation or change penalties and/or fees, other than those imposed as a result of a hotel property’s normal cancellation policy.” However, some hotels include “fenced” rates as part of their BAR strategies.

Do you have static data (non-bookable data)?

For each property we have on our system, we hold, maintain, and make available for our partners, full set of static data (this is sometimes referred to as “non-bookable data”), including pictures, photos, descriptions, facilities, amenities, etc. both for the property level as well as for the room level (where applicable and relevant).

The data is of the highest quality available, multilingual, fresh, authentic, and comes directly from the source.

This data is available and accessible via our API.

Do you provide API/XML?

We provide modern, advance, and robust API for the dynamic data (bookable/ARI data), both for PULL and PUSH. As well, an API for static data (non-bookable data), property level, and room level, directly from the “source of truth“.

Can I configure a bilateral agreement/s?

With just a few clicks, you can select any travel company (demand partner) and set for that partner whatever rates, terms, policies, etc. as pre-agreed between the two of you to effectuate your agreement.

Do you support taxes and fees?

Of course!

In parallel (or in addition), to the functionality you may have on your system, our platform provides many options and a great level of flexibility.

Our taxes and fees module allows you to create unlimited variations of taxes and fees (such as VAT, GST, City Tax, Tourist Tax, Resort Fee, etc.).

Our module will allow you to configure these based on all needed parameters (percentage or fix amount, per stay, per person, per night, per room, per bedroom, or any combination of the above).

You will be able to mark if the price that we receive already includes it or the tax/fee need to be added to the price or to be paid at the check-out etc.

These taxes and fees (in addition to the policies that we may get from your system) will be added to the reservation price (with the exact breakdown) and will be passed on to the travel provider (and via the travel provider to the guest).

Bottom line, with our taxes and fees module you will be able to easily define the right settings that will allow the passing of accurate prices with all the relevant taxes and fees and with a complete breakdown.

How do I reconcile payments?

It’s easy!

Our platform provides an easy and user-friendly module for payment reconciliation.

We know that controlling and managing your accounts and dealing with payments may be a cumbersome and complex process, so we decided to make it an easy and pleasant process.

Via the reconciliation module, you will be able to receive and review the list of bookings where payments are either due or owed. You will be able to obtain your statements and take actions such as remit payments or open and manage disputes, etc.

We are dependent on third parties technologies and systems, and we have no control over them, so there might be situations where failures will occur on these systems and will affect our system.

Can I connect to “my own” demand?

In case you have an existing relationship with any demand partner/travel company or you wish to establish one, and this demand partner/travel company is not available yet on our platform, we can very easily and quickly connect it for you.

The process for doing so is very simple. All you need to do is email our Onboarding Team and copy the relevant contact at that demand partner/travel company and we do the rest.

In no time, the demand partner/travel company will be available for direct distribution for you!

Do we receive a confirmation number directly from the hotel?

As our platform forms direct reservations with the hotel’s system (PMS) we receive and make available for you the confirmation reference code which is assigned by the hotel’s system to your reservation (this is the reference number that is visible and used by the hotel staff – front desk, back-office operation, etc.).

Our platform is bounded by limitations and restrictions imposed by the hotel’s system and unfortunately, some legacy hotel systems do not support the functionality of sending back the confirmation reference code, so in these instances, we are not able to provide it. However, please rest assured that your reservation is placed directly with the hotel’s systems and by direct communication with the hotel you can obtain it.

How do we “sign” a contract to use your services?

It’s simple!

Generally, our contracts are done and settled online.

As part of the sign-up process, you are requested to carefully and diligently review your relevant Terms and Conditions and then formally digitally accept it.

The online digital acceptance functions as a formal “signing” and forms a legally valid enforceable binding contract.

When and if it is relevant, annexes, appendices, addendums, etc. will be concluded and signed by exchanging physical or digital signed documents.

These signed documents (again, if and only where relevant) will be stored and be accessible on your online platform account.

How do I get paid for earned commissions?

In case you have in place an existing relationship with the accommodation provider and based on your agreement/arrangement, the accommodation provider can pay you directly (externally to our system).

How do I pay for bookings that have been made?

It’s easy!

For travel providers:

For bookings made via our marketplace and/or where you do not have an existing relationship with the accommodation provider, our payment module will be used for receiving payments.

In case you have in place an existing relationship with the accommodation provider, based on your agreement/arrangement you can pay the accommodation provider directly (externally to our system).

Do you support prepaid (NET) rates?

Yes, we do!

Our platform fully supports the “NET” model which is also known as “prepaid rate-plans”.

“NET rate-plans”: a net rate-plan defines the booking net price to be paid by the travel provider to the accommodation provider. The NET rate is a “prepaid” rate (i.e. collected and paid prior to the stay/check-in).

The travel provider is eligible to add a certain amount to the net rate (mark-up) and offer it to their clients. The final price (net rate + mark-up) is collected by the travel provider from its client (guest) and the net rate is paid by the travel provider to the accommodation provider.

Do you support “pay at the property” rates?

Absolutely!

Our platform fully supports “pay at the property” which is also known as “sell rate plans,” “commissionable rate plans,” and/or “post-pay rate plans.”

“Sell rate plans”: a sell (commissionable) rate-plan defines the booking sele price for the final client (the guest/consumer). The sell rate is a “post-pay” rate (i.e. collected and paid during the stay, until the check-out).

The travel provider is only eligible to offer to its clients the sell rate (without any additional mark-up). The sell price is collected by the accommodation provider from the guest and the commission amount is paid to the travel provider usually after the stay (post-check-out).
